Sweden’s entry was OK then. Rubbish this year – poor copy of Kate Bush.

It does because of the voting. Most countries vote for there friends not the countries that actually deserve it.

    Eurovision totally sucks nowadays…….

  14. dupppie disse:

Chorus of this song almost completely follows the tune of the chorus of “Build me Up Buttercup” by The Foundations (1969).

Some of them. Seems like you dont really know ABBAs entire catalogue though

  16. pardyhardly disse:

It was Benny’s piano that won it for them.

@festfolket actually I’m very aware this performance was the 70s !! I was merely pointing out Abba rock and the 80s also Rock. !!! Ok to love both :o )

  20. Festfolket disse:

ow this is from the 1970s. Actually outfit like this was totally out of fashion in the 1980′s.

  21. ktgibbsribs disse:

Abba Rock. The 80s Rock. The outfits are class how pretty and talented were the girls singing and the lads musicality MAGIC.

  22. Festfolket disse:

SOME of their song are disco (“Dancing Queen”; “Gimme! Gimme! Gimme!” etc. . Generally ABBA is POP. “Waterloo” is definetely NOT disco.
